“Everyone in this band is so dedicated to their playing- both individually and as a team. It has been a joy to watch each one of them develop into their own unique style and talent as musicians over the past few years. Together they bring a thoughtful passion and creativity to their soul grabbing music that distinguishes them from the rest of traditional bluegrass.” - Anonymous Audience Member

Stillwater

Bluegrass in Maine's beautiful Penobscot Valley

Stillwater is a bluegrass sextet founded in 2023 on the banks of the Stillwater River in Old Town, Maine. Stillwater features Trip Nickel (guitar), Yoni Musher (mandolin), Kiera Luu (double bass), George Horvat (fiddle), Noah Vaughn Jackson (banjo), and Jack Pasternak (dobro). Stillwater incorporates modern renditions of traditional American folk and bluegrass tunes with contemporary jamgrass, respectfully exploring their creative freedom within the wide world of improvisational music and songwriting.
